Job summary
A UK-based digital services provider is seeking an experienced Service Designer for a fully remote role. You will support the delivery of complex, user-centred services in the UK public sector. Key responsibilities include designing end-to-end services, producing service design artefacts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires proven experience with NHS services and GDS standards, offering a competitive rate of £472 per day, inside IR35, and lasting until March 2026.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Service Designer on NHS services.
- Strong, hands-on experience of GDS ways of working and standards.
- Experience delivering UK public sector digital services.
- Comfortable working in complex, regulated environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and iterate end-to-end services that meet user needs.
- Apply the GDS Service Standard across all stages.
- Produce service design artefacts including maps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Use research to inform design decisions.
- Support teams through design assurance and service assessments.
