Job summary

A leading global energy company is looking for an HSE Client Representative for a Solar PV project in Exeter. This contract role involves ensuring Health and Safety compliance throughout construction, monitoring contractor performance, and promoting a proactive safety culture. Candidates should have experience in HSE roles related to large-scale construction and a strong understanding of UK HSE standards. This opportunity offers a hybrid working arrangement and a contract duration of approximately 12 months.

Qualifications

  • Experience in HSE roles on large-scale Solar or similar construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of UK construction HSE standards and frameworks.
  • Ability to act as a client-side representative while working closely with contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and review contractor HSE performance on-site.
  • Conduct inspections, audits and toolbox reviews.
  • Support incident reporting, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
  • Review RAMS, safety documentation and ensure legal compliance.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture throughout delivery.

HSE Supervisor / Client Representative - Solar PV - Health and Safety - Exeter - England - Contract

A leading global energy company is seeking an HSE Client Representative to oversee Health and Safety compliance across a 50MW Solar PV project located near Exeter.

The role will support the client by ensuring contractors comply with site standards, legislation and industry best practice throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and review contractor HSE performance on-site
  • Conduct inspections, audits and toolbox reviews
  • Support incident reporting, corrective actions and continuous improvement
  • Review RAMS, safety documentation and ensure legal compliance
  • Promote a proactive safety culture throughout delivery
Requirements:
