Compensation: £35,000 - £42,000 / year

Reports to: Group HR Director
Location: Nottingham, with travel to other sites as required
Working hours: Full-time 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, 09:00am – 17:30pm.
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum + Annual Bonus

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Recruitment Manager to lead our recruitment efforts and play a pivotal role in shaping our talented team.

We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Manager to join our team and take charge of our recruitment strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fast-paced recruitment and selection, a keen focus on return on investment and the ability to lead and manage a team of three recruitment professionals.

As a Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies, leveraging various recruitment channels, and ensuring that our talent acquisition efforts align with the company's growth objectives.

What We Need from Yü
We are looking for a Recruitment Manager to have:
  • Recruitment Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in alignment with the company's goals and growth plans.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and manage a team of three recruitment professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve recruitment targets.
  • Multi-Channel Recruitment: Utilise various recruitment channels such as job boards, social media, industry events, job fairs, partnering with local colleges and universities and employee referrals to identify and engage with potential candidates.
  • Fast-Paced Recruitment: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing high volumes of vacancies across different departments and ensuring timely recruitment to support the company's expansion.
  • Return on Investment (ROI): Focus on optimising the recruitment process to achieve a high return on investment, monitoring and analysing the effectiveness of recruitment campaigns.
  • Talent Pipelining: Develop and maintain a talent pipeline to ensure a consistent flow of qualified candidates for current and future staffing needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with department heads and hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and provide guidance on best practices in talent acquisition. Work closely with the HR team to foster a culture of collaboration, ensuring seamless alignment between recruitment and broader people strategies to achieve shared goals.
  • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment processes comply with legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports and metrics to track recruitment performance and provide insights for continuous improvement. Provide weekly and ongoing forecast updates to the Group HR Director on all current live vacancies and talent pipeline. Provide data for monthly HR reports.
  • Training & Coaching: Provide recruitment training and coaching to line managers, equipping them with the necessary skills and tools to conduct effective and successful recruitment campaigns.
  • Psychometric Testing:Conduct and analyse psychometric assessments to evaluate candidates' cognitive abilities, personality traits, and job suitability as part of the selection process.
  • Recruitment ATS:Utilise Applicant Tracking System to full capacity along with managing contract with provider.
  • Industry Trends:Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process: Manage recruitment process from initial contact through to onboarding.
  • Goals:Meet targets and KPIs set in conjunction with the Group HR Director. Position Yü Group as an employer of choice by driving initiatives that enhance Yü Group’s reputation.
  • Social Media Platforms:Manage social media platforms for recruitment purposes.
  • Recruitment Agencies: Manage all relationships with select recruitment agents on our preferred supplier list and review list when required.

About Yü

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent HR/recruitment qualification.
  • Proven experience in a Recruitment Manager or similar role, with a track record of successfully managing a team and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Trained in Psychometric testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute recruitment strategies that align with company goals.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of field-based workers would be advantageous.
