A reputable children's care provider in London is seeking a Night Team Leader to guide staff and support young people with autism and complex needs during vulnerable hours. The ideal candidate will have experience in children's residential care and strong leadership skills. This role offers a salary 20% above sector norms and extensive training opportunities.
At this Ofsted rated "Good" residential children's home, nights are anything but simple. The young people here are strong, determined, and live with autism and complex processing needs. Their behaviours can include aggression such as biting, spitting, headbutting, or pulling hair. At times, they may use difficult language - from racial abuse to disturbing conversations - and they may also need urgent medical support for epilepsy, diabetes, or mental health concerns. As Night Team Leader, you'll be the calm and steady guide for your colleagues, ensuring the home stays safe and consistent through the most vulnerable hours.
