The Bread Factory is London’s leading Artisan Bakery, known for award-winning breads, pastries, and cakes, supplying top-quality products across e-commerce, grocery, food services, and retailers such as our GAIL’s Bakeries nationwide.

As our teams grow, we are looking for our next Junior Baker. As a Junior Baker, you will make our award-winning breads using methods of mixing, baking, scaling and shaping.

This job is for you if you like a fast-paced environment and enjoy working in a team.

Contracted hours: 45 hours – Full Time

Working Hours: 1am - 10am

Shift Pattern: Mon-Sun, any 5 days out of 7

Location: Hendon, London, NW9 - If you live in a 5-mile radius, this job is for you

• Supporting the oven team with baking our hand-crafted artisan breads
• Loading and unloading trays from ovens safely and efficiently
• Monitoring baking times and temperatures to ensure top-quality products
• Learning to identify when products are baked to perfection
• Following food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Keeping your workspace organised and assisting with cleaning routines
• Working as part of a team to meet production targets

• Passionate about baking and eager to grow your skills
• Comfortable working in a warm, fast-paced production environment
• Detail-oriented and take pride in getting things just right
• A reliable team player who’s always ready to lend a hand
• Flexible with shifts and happy to work early mornings or nights
• Someone with bakery experience

• Hourly rate of £13.55 per hour (bi-weekly pay)
