We have been assigned by one of the UK's most prestigious NHS Trusts to help recruit a Specialty Doctor in Care of the Elderly on either a Substantive or NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful department.
Our client is an integrated organisation providing community and acute hospital services within the local health economy, with a total income of just over £220 million. The Trust employs over 4000 staff, making it one of the largest employers in the West Midlands. The hospital underwent substantial redevelopment between 2007 and 2010 and has 550 acute beds. It features outpatient, diagnostic, and treatment facilities for short-stay cases, along with upgraded older buildings providing emergency care.
Over the last 12 months, more than £50 million has been invested in healthcare services across the hospital's estate, including two new MRI scanners, a 22-bed Intensive Care Unit, a new Obstetric Theatre, and expansion of the Neonatal Unit. The trust is implementing a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system as part of its digital transformation, working with System C, a UK-based company specialized in NHS deployments.
