Assistant Planning Engineer required to join our team for a project based close to Chester. This role requires a proactive individual who will be responsible for monitoring project progress and ensuring that all planning activities align with project objectives. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct a minimum of four site visits per week to gather accurate data and maintain close communication with site teams.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports
- Develop impact and target programmes for individual compensation events
- Conduct unit hour analysis alongside performance factor reporting
- Relevant planning or engineering qualification (desirable)
- Health and Safety awareness (site visits require adherence to safety standards)
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to undertake frequent site visits
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project or equivalent) - desirable
