Job summary

A logistics company in Redditch is looking for an experienced Ocean Freight / Multimodal Operator to join their forwarding team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of sea freight experience and be skilled in customs clearance. Responsibilities include managing import/export files, liaising with clients, and ensuring accurate invoicing. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years previous sea freight experience.
• Customs clearance knowledge.
• Air/road freight experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage sea freight import/export files from quotation to delivery.
• Support air and road freight bookings.
• Liaise with customers, agents and suppliers.
• Arrange customs clearance and final delivery.
• Resolve operational issues professionally.
• Ensure accurate file costing and invoicing.
• Make outbound calls to customers and prospects.
