Job summary
A regional mental health service is seeking an experienced nurse to join their Children and Young People Mental Health Service team in Borehamwood. The role demands a dedicated individual capable of delivering urgent mental health assessments and working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. Essential qualifications include RMN or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years post-registration experience. The nurse will engage with service users in various settings and contribute to their recovery journeys with a strong focus on individual care pathways.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of post-registration experience with at least one year at Band 5.
- Experience in acute mental health inpatient/day care services.
- Knowledge of safeguarding processes and experience in emotionally demanding environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide urgent assessments for acute mental health concerns.
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Deliver person-centered care reflecting best practices.
