Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Health & Social Care as a Senior Carer or similar role.
  • Understanding of the care planning process and relevant regulations.

Job Overview

As a Trainee Nursing Assistant at HC-One you will lead by example and embody kindness in Memory Care, Nursing, Residential and Specialist homes. You will ensure residents receive high‑quality care planning and choice, and keep their wellbeing above all else.

Responsibilities

You will be the person to deliver residents’ care plans, administer medicines, care for wounds, manage catheter care and other direct clinical tasks under qualified nurse guidance. You will also report accidents, spend time with residents showing dementia symptoms, and maintain residents’ choice and independence throughout your shift.

Qualifications
  1. Level 3 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care (or working towards)
  2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Health & Social Care as a Senior Carer or a similar role with leadership responsibilities around administering medicines and leading a shift
  3. Knowledge and understanding of the person‑led care planning process and the relevant legislative and regulatory requirements
