A leading food manufacturing business in Hull Bridge is seeking a Junior Specifications Technologist. This role involves supporting the setup, maintenance, and accuracy of customer specifications and artwork, ensuring compliance with all standards. Ideal candidates will have experience in food manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and an understanding of food labelling legislation. This position offers a full-time contract with a salary up to £30,000 plus benefits.

- Confident using customer web-based specification systems.
- Understanding of food labelling legislation and retailer requirements.
Responsabilités
- Support the setup and approval of customer specifications and technical data.
- Review pack copy and artwork for compliance with retailer and legal labelling requirements.
- Maintain and update internal specification and quality documentation.
- Assist in developing 'Gold Standard' raw material specifications.
- Attend product launch and change meetings to stay informed of updates.
- Support customer audits, visits, and internal compliance checks.
- Ensure allergen, HACCP, and TACCP records are accurate and up to date.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across technical systems.

This is a great role for someone looking to develop their technical career in the food industry. You'll support the setup, maintenance, and accuracy of customer specifications, pack copies, and artwork — ensuring all documentation meets compliance standards and launch deadlines.
- Support the setup and approval of customer specifications and technical data.
- Review pack copy and artwork for compliance with retailer and legal labelling requirements.
- Maintain and update internal specification and quality documentation.
- Assist in developing “Gold Standard” raw material specifications.
- Attend product launch and change meetings to stay informed of updates.
- Support customer audits, visits, and internal compliance checks.
- Ensure allergen, HACCP, and TACCP records are accurate and up to date.
