  • Support the setup and approval of customer specifications and technical data.
  • Review pack copy and artwork for compliance with retailer and legal labelling requirements.
  • Maintain and update internal specification and quality documentation.
  • Assist in developing 'Gold Standard' raw material specifications.
  • Attend product launch and change meetings to stay informed of updates.
  • Support customer audits, visits, and internal compliance checks.
  • Ensure allergen, HACCP, and TACCP records are accurate and up to date.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across technical systems.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Specifications Technologist to join a fast‑paced food manufacturing business in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

This is a great role for someone looking to develop their technical career in the food industry. You'll support the setup, maintenance, and accuracy of customer specifications, pack copies, and artwork — ensuring all documentation meets compliance standards and launch deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the setup and approval of customer specifications and technical data.
  • Review pack copy and artwork for compliance with retailer and legal labelling requirements.
  • Maintain and update internal specification and quality documentation.
  • Assist in developing “Gold Standard” raw material specifications.
  • Attend product launch and change meetings to stay informed of updates.
