  • Experience writing technical manuals for machinery with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Understanding of the Machinery Directive and ISO9001 quality systems.
  • Experience in Waste Recycling/Yellow Goods or similar industry.

An opportunity for a Technical Author to join a world leader in Waste Handling Equipment. Our client has already engaged in the delivery of a wide range of high-profile projects for local authorities and national and international Contractors and on the back of this they have recently been awarded another major contract and thus are looking to add a Technical Author on a Permanent basis to their highly experienced team.

The client is a highly successful international business with several manufacturing and service facilities in the UK.

They are the market leaders in terms of innovation, safety, and aftermarket service.

Duties Included for the role of Technical Author:

Create and update technical manuals/documentation.

Compile Technical Construction Files and ensure compliance with relevant standards and legislation.

Create documents for engineering, production, and training teams.

Operate vehicles and equipment to verify documentation accuracy.

Liaise across departments to ensure documentation meets requirements.

Keen to speak to Technical Author's:

Experience writing technical manuals for machinery with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Understanding of the Machinery Directive and ISO9001 quality systems.

Experience in Waste Recycling/Yellow Goods or similar industry.

Proficient in Microsoft Office /Autocad.

High Attention to detail.
