About the role

What you’ll be doing

• Researching and writing SEO-optimised content for the HL website, blog, and other digital platforms.
• Conducting keyword research and apply SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings.
• Collaborating with the Senior Content Manager and other team members to align content with marketing campaigns and business goals.
• Monitoring content performance using analytics tools and make data-driven recommendations for optimization, constantly applying learning to improve performance outcomes.
• Ensuring all content adheres to brand guidelines, tone of voice, and compliance standards.
• Staying up to date with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and content marketing best practices.
• Supporting the development of content calendars and contribute to content planning sessions.
• Investigating and understanding performance of SEO content, understanding where improvements can be made and taking action to improve.

About you

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong grasp of grammar and style.
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
• Strong research skills and the ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging content.
• Strong analytical skills particularly within SEO performance metrics.
• Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and basic HTML.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proven experience in SEO writing or digital content creation.
• Understanding of financial services or experience writing in a regulated industry is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to inform content strategy.

Interview Process

This will be a two stage process with task.

Working Schedule

This role is based in our Bristol head office (BS1 5HL) and we offer a hybrid working pattern, with a minimum of two days in the office per week.
