Are you a talented writer with a flair for crafting compelling, high‑quality proposals? We’re looking for a Bid Writer to join our EMEA business on a maternity cover basis. In this pivotal role, you’ll play a key part in winning new business and driving growth by producing persuasive responses to tender opportunities.

About the Role

This is a pivotal role where you’ll lead the charge on capturing and responding to bid and proposal opportunities for our EMEA business. As Bid Writer, you’ll manage the entire bid cycle—from researching new business prospects and registering on supplier portals, to writing persuasive technical responses and maintaining a robust bid content library. You’ll collaborate closely with senior management, sales, marketing, legal, and project teams to ensure every submission is aligned with our business objectives and stands out for its quality and impact. What You Will Bring
  • Experience or degree-level education in professional writing.
  • Ideally, at least two years in a bid writer or bid management role, preferably in the IT training industry.
  • Strong organisation, planning, and time management skills to ensure deadlines are met without compromise on quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy to ensure every submission is polished and accurate.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and ideally Copilot.
  • A genuine interest in creative business writing and a flexible, positive attitude.
