Senior Project Manager

Location: Durham (with travel across the North East)

We are a well-established building company based in Durham, delivering a wide range of construction projects across the country — with a strong focus on the North East. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, strong client relationships, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team — someone who can act as the Managing Director's right-hand person and take the lead in overseeing multiple construction sites through our network of on-site managers. You'll be responsible for ensuring each project is running smoothly, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and keeping tight control over programme and budget.

• Oversee multiple construction sites across the North East region.
• Manage and support on-site project managers and site teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
• Monitor health & safety and ensure compliance across all sites.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain excellent communication and working relationships.
• Report progress, issues, and financial status directly to company leadership.
• Assist in planning and programming upcoming works.

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in the construction industry.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.
