The ideal candidate will lead the organization’s business development activities and drive sales. They will play a key role in generating new business and managing marketing and customer service activities.

1. Actively prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within specified potential new and/or existing customers in the UK market;
2. Develop business and regulatory plans for the UK market and achieve operational plan objectives;
3. Identify opportunities from marketing leads, and communicate with and manage local business partners;
4. Understand market information and report to company headquarters in a timely manner;
5. Collaborate with other departments to establish necessary operational processes for the UK market;
6. Build brand awareness of the company and its product solutions in the UK;
7. Provide excellent customer service by promptly resolving all customer inquiries.

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or sales within molecular pathology or IVD related markets;
2. BS or MS degree in Life & Science, Molecular Pathology, or Clinical Medicine; MBA and/or PhD is a plus;
3. Good knowledge of the local molecular pathology market; international and multicultural experience is preferred;
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills;
5. Ability to think strategically and creatively, with high attention to detail and operational excellence;
6. Energetic with strong motivation to find new business opportunities quickly;
7. Familiar with the business model of selling imported products in Europe;
8. Fluent in English, with good spoken and listening skills in German preferred.
