A leading Civil Engineering contractor based in London is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager for a £600m rail project. Successful candidates will oversee commercial team management and ensure compliance with contract requirements. Extensive rail project experience and MRICS accreditation are essential. Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or other relevant subject.
• Extensive experience delivering large multi-discipline Rail projects.
• Professionally qualified and accredited Senior QS/Commercial Manager (MRICS).
• Experience managing a team of quantity surveyors.
• Strong contractual knowledge, particularly with NEC and NR contracts.

Responsabilités

• Guide and support the commercial team, ensuring skill development.
• Liaise with the Employer's commercial team.
• Prepare and issue periodic valuations and reports on time.
• Implement commercial procedures to ensure compliance.
• Work with the Project Commercial Director for consistent business approach.
• Maintain appropriate commercial records according to contract requirements.
• Manage a commercial team including quantity surveying, supply chain, and contract administration.
• Provide commercial advice to the Senior Management Team.
