Software Test Engineer - Scientistic/AI Software Company
Newcastle / Hybrid - Office visit once a week

We are currently recruiting for a Software Test Engineer to join their team to help change this world with 3D Visualisation Software technologies! This is a significant opportunity to work on real-world problems and be the one to help get rid of these problems. This is a hands development opportunity which involves both legacy and greenfield projects. Working mainly within Manual Testing, there will be a chance to develop their Automation Testing Function and develop personally and professionally.
Responsibilities:
- Support work with Continuous Integration, Testing and Deployment Strategy.
- Certification Testing and Performance Testing
- Actively participate in the resolution of complex technical problems
- Implement and Assist with automation testing where appropriate
- Create, review, execute and maintain test scripts for both automated and manual
- Produce appropriate documentation
- Share knowledge of the code-base and encourages “shared code ownership”
- Identify new technologies where applicable
- Take ownership of code quality and drives continuous improvement
Requirements / Experience in:
- 5+ years’ experience within Manual QA / Testing role in an Agile setting
- Experienced in some programming languages like C++, C# or Python
- A desire to learn and progress in things like Automation
- Experience in Agile working with SCRUM, TDD and BDD principles
- Experience in User Accepting Testing
- Experience in collecting, analysing and presenting UAT results.
- Familiarity with a test-first development methodology such as TDD or BDD
- Experience in 3D Visualisation Software and test with Ranorex would be desirable!
