Job summary

Codi Group is seeking a full-time Scheme Support Officer for our Young Persons Supported Accommodation Service in Merthyr Tydfil. The role includes providing 24/7 support to young people aged 16-35 and assisting with emergency accommodation, tenancy skills, and independence.

You will work with a dedicated team and alongside the Manager to deliver person-centred support, health and safety checks, admin duties, and responsive care in a not-for-profit setting across Wales.

Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerable people is essential.
• Desire to help people live as independently as possible.
• Enthusiasm and passion for making a difference in people’s lives.
• Strong initiative and ability to work alone and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle conflicting and difficult situations.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with the young people we support.
• Deliver workshops on tenancy management, health and wellbeing.
• Support customers per individual support plans under guidance.
• Carry out wellbeing checks and respond to needs.
• Ensure the building is safe and secure, including health and safety checks.
