Job summary

A provider of supported housing to young people in Northern Ireland is seeking a Youth Housing Case Worker. In this role, you will offer holistic support to young individuals aged 16 to 21, helping them build skills and confidence to maintain their own homes. Responsibilities include creating support plans and maintaining records. Applicants should have experience working with young people or a relevant degree along with a valid driving license. Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience of working with young people, or a relevant degree with 6 months of experience.
  • A full, current driving license with access to a car is required.

Job description

Could you assist young people to build the skills and confidence to maintain their own homes? MACS provides 24/7 supported housing for young people aged between 16 and 21, who are leaving care, or who may be homeless. Young people can live with us for up to 2 years before moving into the community. Youth Housing Case Workers provide individualised support planning for our young people, based on ongoing assessment, review and keeping safe were appropriate. Closing Date: Tuesday 27th January 2026 at 9.30am

Responsibilities
  • To provide Holistic Support (on a one to one and group basis) to all young people accessing the service.
  • To identify Support Plans in partnership with Young People and Professionals/Service were appropriate.
  • To maintain and review accurate and up to date records of support provided to Young People.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 1 years’ experience of working with young people. OR Degree in Social Work, Youth and Community Work or similar AND 6 months experience of working with young people.
  • A full, current driving license with access to a car, insured for business use is required to meet the requirements of the post in full.
