A leading youth organization in Leeds is seeking a Youth Development Lead to support and guide young people towards positive outcomes. You will deliver employability sessions, maintain records, and liaise with various partners to ensure success. Youth Development Leads play a crucial role in supporting young people, no matter the young person's background or current circumstances, to fulfil their full potential. We want to continue having a positive impact on young people's lives and we couldn't do this without the important work of Youth Development Leads!
Be responsible for a group of young people, for one-on-one support and guidance or just gently pointing them in the right direction. Deliver employability sessions directly to our incredible young people, and help our Delivery Partners and volunteers do the same, both in person and virtually through MS Teams. When we're doing things face-to-face, hit the road and be there in person to help with programme delivery or programme visits to make sure all is running as smoothly as possible. Keep meticulous records of information and data on our young people, volunteers, and partners to ensure every step of their journey is accurately reflected in our systems and compliant with our funding contracts. Champion their support and learning needs with employers, and liaise with partners like the job centre to ensure nothing stands in the way of their success. Be the guiding light for our delivery partners and service providers to help them deliver the best experience and outcomes for our young people. Lead the charge on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion by implementing a local action plan that supports our EDI goals.
