Job description
Overview

Year 5 Teaching Assistant – North Birmingham. Salary £90 - £105 per day.

Our client based in Shard End is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic NVQ Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant at a two form entry Primary school. You must have at least 12 months of experience working within a primary school setting and have the desire to make a difference within the classroom. You should have knowledge of the primary curriculum and have full understanding of safeguarding minors.

Teaching assistant work is not for the faint hearted as it is a demanding role which requires patience, stamina, teamwork and a caring attitude. If this sounds like you and you have at least 12 months of Teaching Assistant experience and are NVQ Level 2 or 3 trained, I would love to hear from you!

The role starts October 2025 and will be ongoing for the right candidate.
