Are you an experienced and confident upper Key Stage 2 teacher looking for a full-time opportunity in a supportive and well-established school?

A welcoming two-form entry primary school in Stourbridge is seeking a dedicated Year 5 Class Teacher on a long-term basis. This position will begin after in January and continue until July 2026.

This is a planning role where you will be producing and delivering high-quality lessons, working closely with other school staff to ensure continuity and strong communication. The school has a positive reputation for staff collaboration, pupil behaviour, and a supportive senior leadership team.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2 (KS2).
  • Ability to maintain high standards of teaching and learning, alongside being an effective team player.
  • Strong classroom management skills, and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Using excellent behaviour management techniques to support student development.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and parents to enhance pupil outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in a Primary School setting, particularly Key Stage 2.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and lesson planning.
