Are you an experienced and passionate KS2 teacher looking to join a warm, welcoming school community? Or perhaps an enthusiastic ECT with a few years of experience, ready to take on a new challenge in a supportive environment? An exciting Year 4 teaching opportunity awaits!

Our lovely Catholic primary school, nestled in the heart of Denton, is seeking a dedicated and engaging Year 4 Class Teacher to cover a maternity leave from after the October half term. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a school with a strong family feel, warm ethos, and a vibrant atmosphere where both pupils and staff thrive.

The school is a single form entry set up with TA\'s in classes to provide additional support. With a higher than average number of SEND pupils, the successful teacher will be expected to adapt learning to support individual needs and successfully delegate to other classroom staff to create a system where all pupils are able to achieve their full potential.

Year 4 Teacher - We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Has strong subject knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, particularly in Year 4.
  • Is experienced in supporting pupils with additional needs, using adaptive teaching methods tailored to visual, auditory, and kinaesthetic learning styles.
  • Can plan and deliver exciting, engaging, and creative lessons that reflect modern society and pupil interests.
  • Builds trusting and respectful relationships with pupils, ensuring that all children feel seen, heard, and valued.
  • Follows our school\'s positive behaviour management policy, rooted in mutual respect and positive reinforcement.
  • Implements both formative and summative assessment strategies effectively, using them to inform planning and identify the need for intervention.
  • Immerses themselves in all areas of school life
