Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare, service and maintain hire fleet generators and ancillary equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out breakdown repairs on rental and customer equipment.
• Attend customer sites to assist with synchronising generators for various applications.
• Support yard operations, including loading and offloading equipment.
• Operate a forklift within the yard.
• Deliver and collect generators and ancillary equipment using company vehicles.

An excellent opportunity has become available for a motivated and hands‑on Yard Engineer to join a leading generator specialist in the Southwest. Our client is looking for someone to support their East Grinstead depot in the service and maintenance of their rental fleet as well as customers’ own equipment. You’ll be a key part of their team, working closely with internal and external customers, providing updates, ensuring high standards of service, and contributing to a smooth‑running depot.
