Overview

Wraparound Care Assistant at Pilgrim Academy. Salary: £25,550 pro rata (Actual salary £9,274.65). Fixed term for 1 year, in the first instance. Closing date: 13.10.25.

Role and responsibilities

Wraparound care will consist of a breakfast club in the morning, where children can attend from 7:30am to 8:45am and after school provision, where children can attend from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Children will be provided with a breakfast in the morning and light snacks in the afternoon. Both sessions will provide children with a wide range of different, engaging activities. There are opportunities for the successful candidate to work in both sessions each day or assist either the morning or the afternoon sessions. This would be discussed at interview, but please indicate in your application.

Working hours
  • Morning: 7.30am to 8.45am (6 hours, 15 minutes per week)
  • Afternoon: 3.30pm to 5.30pm (10 hours per week)
  • Total for both roles: 16 hours 25 minutes
