A leading engineering company is seeking Workshop Fitters to join their team near Oswestry. The ideal candidate will have fitting or mechanical assembly experience, knowledge of hydraulics, and the ability to work from engineering drawings. • Fitting a variety of products onto trucks.
• Working from engineering drawings.
• Performing hydraulics work.
• Carrying out necessary repairs.
• Installing cranes onto the backs of wagons.

Recruit4Staff are pleased to be representing their client, a leading engineering company in their search for a Workshop Fitters to work in their leading facility near Oswestry.

For the successful Workshop Fitters, our client is offering:

• Competitive salary paying up to £33,000 depending on experience
• Monday to Friday (Days 8am-5:15pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays)
• Permanent vacancies within a expanding business
• Overtime is paid at time/half over standard hours.

The Role - Workshop Fitters:

• Fitting of a variety of products onto a variety of Trucks
• Hydraulics work
• Working from engineering drawings
• Use of hand and power tools
• Carrying out necessary repairs where required
• Carrying out installation work (Fitting of a variety of products onto the backs of Wagons)
• Wiring
• Installing cranes on to the back's of Wagons
• Bolting up

What our client is looking for in a Workshop Fitter:

• Previous fitting or mechanical assembly experience - ESSENTIAL
• Good Engineering knowledge
• Knowledge of Hydraulics
• Experienced working from engineering drawing - ESSENTIAL
• Fitting experience working on HGVs is highly advantageous.
