Workshop / Engineering Assistant

Location : Rochdale

Hours : Monday – Thursday 8am – 4 : 30pm / Friday 8am – 3 : 30pm

Pay : £12.21

Contract : Temp ongoing

Are you practical, hands‑on, and keen to work in a busy and friendly workshop environment? We’re looking for a Workshop / Engineering Assistant to support our engineering and production team with a range of tasks involving tools, machinery, and general workshop duties.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assisting with the use of hand and power tools, including drills, saws, grinders, and other workshop equipment
  • Preparing and cutting materials to specification
  • General assembly and support on engineering projects
  • Keeping the workshop clean, safe, and organised
  • Helping with loading, unloading, and moving materials
  • Supporting qualified engineers with day‑to‑day tasks

Requirements :

  • ✅ Basic experience using tools such as drills and saws (training can be provided)
