• Engage with customers to provide high levels of service.
• Carry out other general waiting duties as part of the Restaurant team.

Wine Waiter Overview

• Working within the Garden Restaurant team serving wine and other beverages to dining guests
• During service you will recommend and sell wines to guests that will complement their tastes and meal.
• Engaging with customers is essential therefore enjoyment in delivering the highest levels of service is a must
• Carry out other general waiting duties as part of the Restaurant team.
• This is a fantastic role if you wish to progress your career within a quality establishment within hospitality. This position has arisen due to internal promotion, so it is a fantastic place to start!
• This role will include weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Wine Waiter Key Attributes

• Good knowledge of wine is essential, restaurant experience, preferably in a similar luxury establishment
• Level 2 WSET qualification, or working towards. If you do not have your qualification we are happy to support you in achieving this
• Polite and personable with good customer service skills
• Well presented and impeccably groomed
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Good command of the English language, both written and verbal
• A positive personality and service with a smile
