Are you an Electrical Engineer with experience in commercial maintenance, seeking a hands‑on, field‑based role within a fast‑growing renewable energy company, offering progression to Senior Engineer, strong overtime potential to boost earnings, a company van for site travel, and access to specialised training to develop your skills further?

This UK‑based renewable energy specialist provides nationwide operation, maintenance, and technical support for onshore wind turbines in the 200kW to 850kW range. Operating across England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, the company delivers high‑quality O&M, performance optimisation, technical upgrades, and asset support to maximise turbine availability and long‑term value.

In this role, you will perform planned and reactive maintenance on onshore wind turbines across South West England and South Wales. You will service, inspect, and fault‑find electrical, mechanical systems, replace components, complete accurate reports, and work safely at height while regularly travelling to remote sites. The role is Monday‑Friday, 8:30‑5, with significant overtime available.

This role would suit an electrically biased engineer with experience in renewable energy or heavy plant maintenance who is looking for a varied, field‑based position within a growing wind energy business, looking to increase earnings through overtime.

The Role
  • Planned and reactive electrical maintenance on onshore wind turbines
  • Servicing, inspection, and electrical fault finding on turbine systems
  • Repair and replacement of electrical components, including sensors, control systems, and switchgear
  • Supporting mechanical and hydraulic works where required
  • Monday‑Friday 8:30‑5 + overtime
The Person
  • Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ, apprenticeship, HNC/HND)
  • Electrical maintenance experience, ideally in wind or heavy engineering
  • Comfortable working at height and in all weather conditions
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willing to travel across South West England, South Wales, and occasional UK‑wide sites
