Overview

Company: Catch22. In Justice, we work with young people and adults in custody and in the community, providing offender management, mentoring, victim services, gangs work and youth justice. We aim to support rehabilitation and reintegration by addressing needs through holistic services.

Role

Wellbeing Practitioner – Prison Lead. You will support adults on their rehabilitation and reintegration journey within the Personal Wellbeing service, focusing on four pathways: Family and Significant Others, Lifestyle and Associates, Emotional Wellbeing, and Social Inclusion. You will manage a caseload of service users in both community and custody settings, delivering tailored interventions to promote positive change and developing coping skills, emotional regulation, resilience, and pro-social behaviours. You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders and delivery partners to ensure holistic support.

  • Support rehabilitation and reintegration by promoting positive change and social inclusion.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery partners to ensure holistic support.
Qualifications
  • GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Evidence of professional development.
  • Relevant qualifications in criminology, social care, mental health, or similar (desirable).
  • Skills & Experience: proven experience with offenders or disadvantaged individuals; knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and rehabilitation strategies; strong communication and motivational skills; experience delivering 1:1 and group interventions; ability to manage caseloads and adapt to challenging environments.
  • Other Requirements: willingness to travel and work flexibly across sites; commitment to equality, diversity, and personal development.
Additional Information
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours & work pattern: Full time, 38 hours per week
  • Salary: £26,650 per annum
  • Location: The Old Music Hall, 106-108 Cowley Road, Oxford, OX4 1JE; frequent travel to Thames Valley region
  • Screening: Enhanced DBS check, HMPPS vetting clearance, and Right To Work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not currently provided.
  • Additional Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence and access to a personal vehicle
