A well-established training provider in Greater Lincolnshire is seeking a Welding & Fabrication Instructor to deliver and coordinate qualifications. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a welder/fabricator and possess a Level 2 qualification in welding. The role includes mentoring young learners in a high-tech training environment and offers a starting salary of £38-40K, flexible working and excellent benefits, including life assurance and health care.
OVERVIEW: WELDING & FABRICATION INSTRUCTOR
We are currently seeking a Welding professional to deliver and coordinate the successful completion of Welding & Fabrication qualifications, for a well-established training provider.
The Welding Instructor role will require you to be involved in teaching, coaching and mentoring young learners undertaking Welding qualifications. You will be a time served Welder / Fabricator and ideally hold a level 2 or above qualification in a Welding & Fabrication discipline.
Ideally you will have experience delivering training and will possess either an Assessor\'s Award or a teaching qualification (PTLLS or above). If you do not hold these qualifications but have a genuine desire to move into a training role, enjoy working in a learning environment and are a time served Welder, my client would like to hear from you. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
You will be based at a training centre in Grimsby, but may be required to visit other centres in the Humberside region, so you will need a full UK driving license and use of your own car.

The role of Welding Instructor:
To deliver and coordinate the successful completion of all aspects of welding qualifications delivered at a high-tech training facility (classroom-based delivery). Training learners in the centre towards agreed qualifications in line with relevant awarding body standards.
