TIG Welder - £17.00 per hour (DOE) + Overtime - Tollesbury - temp to perm

We're working with a leading manufacturer supplying the hospitality and catering industries, who are looking for an experienced TIG Welder / Fabricator to join their busy and expanding workshop team. This is a permanent, full‑time role offering great stability, overtime opportunities, and a friendly working environment.

The Role

As a TIG Welder, you'll be responsible for welding and fabricating stainless steel products used across a range of commercial sectors. You'll be working from engineering drawings and using a variety of fabrication machinery and tools.

Duties

• TIG welding stainless steel components
• Carrying out fabrication work to high‑quality standards
• Operating fabrication machinery such as press brakes, guillotines, and hand tools (Ideally)
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Assisting with occasional on‑site fitting and installation work

Qualifications

• Proven experience in TIG welding, particularly with stainless steel
• Ability to fabricate and assemble products independently (Ideally)
• Experience using fabrication tools and machinery
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Due to the rural location, you must have your own transport
• Willingness to assist with occasional site‑based work

Hours & Pay

Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 16:30
Up to £16.00 per hour, depending on experience
Overtime available at an enhanced rate
Permanent position after a 12‑week probation period
