Job description

Overview

We are recruiting for a Welder with experience in both MIG and TIG, to join our busy furniture production team and work in our Welding Workshop in Larling, Norfolk. We are located in a rural area so own transport essential.

Responsibilities

• Good welding skills (both MIG and TIG).
• Fabricating experience with the ability to cut, weld, form, make jigs and to read drawings.
• Good hands on knowledge of assembling furniture, particularly metal furniture/table bases.
• Manual handling knowledge (some heavy lifting required).
• Any other duties as required by Warings Furniture Limited.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Good literacy and numeracy skills with the ability to use a measure to take accurate measurements (e.g. measuring table tops).
• Reliability with a can-do attitude and the ability to adhere to all Health and Safety requirements of the business.
• Keen eye for detail with the ability to produce good quality work.
• Team player with a flexible approach to working time to meet production deadlines and peak workloads.
• Immediate start available for the right candidate.
