Overview

Weekend Nights Operations Analyst - AOG / Time-Critical Logistics – Derby. Location: Derby. Shift pattern: Friday to Sunday | 8:00pm - 8:00am. Contract: Permanent. Salary up to £37,000.

I'm recruiting for an experienced Weekend Nights Operations Analyst to support time-critical AOG and aerospace logistics operations. This role is ideal for a proven night-shift operator who is confident managing urgent air and road freight movements independently, making real-time decisions, and delivering under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Managing AOG, Aerospace & Defence, and Automotive shipments via Air and Road
• Producing accurate quotations for time-critical movements via phone, email, and customer platforms
• Proactively monitoring live shipments and providing regular customer updates
• Coordinating with airlines, hauliers, partners, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery
• Managing bookings, documentation, and all operational activity within a TMS, escalating issues where required

Essential experience

• Proven AOG operational experience
• Valid IATA Dangerous Goods (DG) Certificate
• MAYB experience
• Strong Air Export operations background
• Experience handling Imports, Exports, and Cross-Trade shipments
