Our client currently has a vacancy for an experienced Water Treatment Service Chemist based in the Blackburn area to join a successful water treatment company working on a variety of contracts in the North West and nationally. Applications from Ribchester, Accrington, Darwen, Burnley and surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in a water treatment service chemist role.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of water treatment/hygiene industry essential.
• Proficient with Microsoft office package.

Role

• Chemical Analysis on Cooling towers, Steam boilers and closed heated and chilled systems.
• Maintenance on Domestic and Industrial water systems.
• Routine monitoring tasks at multiple sites.
• Dosing of systems, closed system flushing, water softener servicing and disinfection of systems.
• Providing the full range of Service Chemist duties on an array of systems across a variety of sectors.
• Flushing of Calorifiers.
• Updating of Site Log Books.
• Chemical tank cleans, temperature monitoring, cooling towers and chlorination – steam boilers.
• Maintain a professional relationship with clients.
