Job description

Our client a well‑established name in the water treatment industry are currently looking to recruit an experienced and competent Water Treatment Engineer for a variety of contracts in the South West London region. Consideration will be given to applications from Sutton, Epsom, Surbiton, Twickenham and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & experience:
  • The successful candidate must come from a good educational, chemical and water background.
  • Experience working as a water treatment engineer within the water treatment industry.
  • Will be fully conversant with current guidelines – (ACOP L8).
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
  • Must have significant experience of water softeners.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Installing, servicing and troubleshooting of dosing and control equipment as well as pre‑treatment plants and water softeners.
  • Extensive water softener work.
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance.
  • Maintenance, chlorination, disinfection of cooling towers, shower heads etc.
  • Chemical tank cleans, temperature monitoring, cooling towers and chlorination – steam boilers.
  • Maintain and build a good, professional relationship with the company’s clients.
