Job description

This client is offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and reliable Water Treatment Engineer to join their well‑established Water Treatment based in and around Doncaster area. Consideration will be given to applications from Barnsley, Worksop, Rotherham and surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience working in this role within the water treatment/legionella industry.
  • A good understanding and a proven track record of working to ACOP L8.
  • Working knowledge of the water industry Health & Safety legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Competent working with Microsoft Office Package.
Role
  • Servicing hot and cold water systems, some routine cleaning and disinfecting work etc.
  • Chemical cleaning of tanks, cooling towers, chlorination and steam boilers.
  • Understanding of schematic drawings of hot and cold water systems, cold water storage tank inspections.
  • Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.
  • Checking the water quality in softeners and levels of inhibitors in boiler systems.
  • Carrying out installation, preventative maintenance and remedial works as required.
  • Closed system analysis of LTHW and CHW and results, temperature monitoring.
  • Ensure all work carried out in accordance with health & safety legislation and company procedures.
  • Providing accurate reports and maintaining paper work.
  • Building and maintaining a professional relationship with the clients.
