Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Water team. You will lead structural design across wastewater and water infrastructure projects, from concept to construction, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative solutions.

You will prepare and review calculations, drawings and reports to high standards, while managing budgets and programmes. The role offers flexible hybrid working and opportunities to mentor junior staff within a global, respected firm.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete and steelwork.
• Experience with BIM and 3D design tools.
• Membership or progression towards ICE or IStructE desirable.

Responsibilities

• Structural design and review of water infrastructure elements from concept through construction.
• Collaborate with Clients and AECOM teams to gain buy-in and share technical capability.
• Produce and review calculations, drawings and reports to relevant standards.
• Deliver projects within budget, programme and quality targets.
• Seek opportunities to innovate and trial new methods.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff.
