Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Water team in the UK. You will design and review structural elements for water and wastewater infrastructure, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.

This role offers a flexible hybrid working model across UK offices and opportunities to advance technical capabilities through AECOM University and practice networks.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Experience in structural analysis and design for water/wastewater assets.
• Proficient in BIM and 3D design tools.
• Member of ICE or IStructE or working toward membership.

Responsibilities

• Structural design and review of water/wastewater infrastructure elements from concept to construction.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to secure buy-in and share expertise.
• Produce and review calculations, drawings and reports to standards.
• Deliver projects within budget, schedule and quality targets.
• Explore innovative methods and technologies to improve delivery.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff and delegate tasks.
