Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and delivery of water infrastructure projects. You will work across multidisciplinary teams, using BIM and 3D design tools to develop robust structural solutions from concept through construction.

You’ll mentor junior engineers, manage deliverables to time and budget, and collaborate with clients and internal specialists to advance technical capability and innovative approaches within a flexible hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil/structural engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Experience with BIM and 3D design tools in a digital delivery environment.
• Membership or working towards ICE or IStructE.

Responsibilities

• Undertake design and review of structural elements for water infrastructure.
• Collaborate with clients and AECOM teams to gain buy-in on solutions.
• Produce calculations, drawings and reports to standards.
• Deliver to budget, programme and quality targets.
• Explore new methods and innovate where possible.
• Mentor junior staff and oversee delegated tasks.
