Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Water team in the UK, delivering structural design for water infrastructure projects on a hybrid basis. You will lead design reviews, collaborate with clients and internal teams, and mentor junior engineers.

With a Civil or Structural Engineering degree and experience in BIM/3D tools, you will contribute to a diverse portfolio and work with major UK water clients.

Qualifications

• Civil or Structural Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience with structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete and steelwork.
• Experience in a digital delivery environment using BIM and 3D design tools.
• Membership/working towards membership of ICE or IStructE.

Responsibilities

• Structural Design: design and review of structural elements on water and wastewater projects from concept to construction.
• Collaborate with Clients and AECOM teams to gain buy-in and share technical capability.
• Produce and review deliverables, calculations, drawings and technical reports to standards.
• Deliver projects within budget, schedule, and quality targets; assist with budget and programme.
• Explore innovative methods and approaches to improve outcomes.
• Mentor junior staff and oversee their work.
