Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Exeter to join our Water Team, delivering structural design for wastewater and water infrastructure from concept through construction. You will lead analyses, coordinate with clients and internal teams, deliver calculations, drawings and reports, and mentor junior staff within a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

Civil or Structural Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
Experience with structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete and steelwork.
Experience using BIM and 3D design tools in a digital delivery environment.
Membership toward a relevant professional institution (ICE or IStructE).

Responsibilities

Structural design and review of elements on wastewater and water infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
Collaborate with clients and AECOM counterparts to ensure stakeholder buy-in and contribute to wider capability.
Produce and review deliverables, including calculations, drawings and technical reports to standards.
Deliver to budget, programme and quality; support budget and programme preparation.
Explore opportunities to innovate and trial new methods.
Mentor junior staff and oversee work as a technical lead.
