About the Role

A well-established provider of Water Hygiene / Water Treatment management services is seeking a hardworking and diligent engineer. The successful candidate will cover Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare and Government sites, performing water hygiene / water treatment duties including water sampling, temperature monitoring, closed‑system sampling, analysis and dosing. This role provides regional work based in Oxfordshire, reducing travel demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Water sampling
  • Temperature monitoring
  • Cleaning and descaling of showerheads
  • TMV servicing and failsafe
  • Closed‑system sampling, analysis and dosing with correct chemicals
  • Routine flushing of seldom‑used outlets
  • Reclaimed Water System Treatment (CWST) cleans and disinfections
  • Carrying out CWST drop testing
  • Work in accordance with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines
  • Updating onsite logbooks
Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience working as an engineer for an established Water Hygiene / Water Treatment management company
  • Well versed in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines
  • Excellent time‑management skills
  • Ability to handle various chemicals, ensuring adherence to COSHH guidelines
  • Effective communication with clients and colleagues
  • Familiarity with updating onsite logbooks
  • Capability to work independently
