Job description

Due to current state of the business, this well ambitious and expanding water hygiene company that supplies various services within the water disciplines to various sectors, including commercial, industrial and public sectors across the country is actively seeking for a commercially focused and self-driven Water Hygiene Operations Manager in the South East and will include applications from Redhill, Brighton, Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding areas.

Ideally, they are looking for an individual who comes from strong water hygiene, operational, management, supervisory, technical, accounts, sales and plumbing background.

Must have hands on water hygiene engineering and legionella.

Must have good communication, client facing, people management, leadership, organizational and presentation skills.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must have significant experience working within this role and within the water hygiene/legionella industry.

Must be fully conversant with the water treatment/water hygiene industry and an in-depth knowledge of the Health & Safety procedures and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and overseeing the company’s water hygiene consultants – Engineers, Legionella Assessors, contractors and office staff.
• Organizing, planning and scheduling business operation – allocations of jobs.
• Getting involved with training, appraisals, etc.
• Keeping accurate reports of work carried out by the Engineers/staff.
• Developing and producing commercial pricing and tender documents.
• Producing and implementing method statement, risk assessments – documentations.
• Solving problems appropriately and effectively.
• Dealing with Health & Safety procedures.
• Ensuring that the all work is carried out is in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures and practices.
• Managing recruitment and training.
• Key Performance Indicators.
• Achieving goals and targets.
• Carrying out any other ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Must be prepared to travel extensively.
