Job summary

A leading water hygiene engineering firm is seeking a Plumber/Water Hygiene Engineer to carry out essential tasks including Legionella Risk Assessments and general plumbing works. Candidates must possess a plumbing qualification (Level 2/3) and demonstrate a strong understanding of relevant regulations. A full driving license and ability to work independently are essential. Applicants must be based in the UK with full leave to remain; no visa sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Water Hygiene/Treatment environment.
• Good understanding of ACOP L8 & HSG274 regulations.
• Willingness to stay away overnight if needed.

Job description

As a Plumber/Water Hygiene Engineer from within the Water Hygiene/Treatment environment you will be expected to have prior experience in:

• Legionella Risk Assessments.
• Schematic Drawings.
• Descaling.
• TMV Servicing.
• Water Sampling.
• Dead Leg Removals.
• TMV Installations.
• Cold Water Storage Tank Installations.
• General Plumbing Works. Held similar role.
• Plumbing Qualification (Ideally Level 2/3).
• Good understanding of Legionella, in accordance with ACOP L8 & HSG274.
• Ability to work independently.
• Full Driving Licence.
• Willingness to stay away overnight as and when required.
• DBS check may also be required.
