The City of Wolverhampton Council is seeking a Waste and Recycling Development Officer to join the waste and recycling team. Based at Hickman Avenue Waste Depot, the role involves collating, monitoring and analysing waste data, servicing contracts, and engaging with customers and suppliers to improve recycling rates.

You will travel between sites, have a full driving licence, and support service improvements through data-driven insights and digital working practices including AI.

Formación

• Experience in office administration and data handling.
• Ability to analyse data and prioritise workload.
• Willingness to undertake training and development, including digital tools like AI.

Responsabilidades

• Collate, monitor and analyse waste data and service contracts.
• Verify and communicate information with stakeholders to improve waste provisions.
• Drive high recycling rates and support service improvement projects.
• Engage with customers and suppliers in person, by phone and in writing.
• Travel between waste sites to monitor compliance and support administration.
