NXA Talent LTD is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in the waste management sector. The role focuses on opening doors, building relationships with major corporate customers and winning new business by delivering sustainable solutions.

You will identify opportunities, manage a pipeline from first engagement to contract win, and collaborate with bid teams on tenders. This role offers remote working with UK travel and a company car.

Qualifications

• Proven business development experience within waste management, environmental services or a closely related sector.
• Evidence of generating leads, developing a pipeline and winning new business.
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting commercial solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities across commercial and industrial markets.
• Build relationships with large corporate and blue-chip organisations.
• Sell outsourced services and tailored solutions that support customers' operational and sustainability objectives.
• Develop your own pipeline and take opportunities from initial engagement through to contract win.
• Work closely with internal bid teams on tenders, proposals and major commercial opportunities.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels, from operational contacts through to senior leadership and board-level decision-makers.
• Help customers explore more sustainable, resource-efficient and circular ways of working.
