Overview

As a Warehouse Team Leader across Rudie’s Kitchen and Aces Pantry (our fully-fledged, high-performing site near Doncaster), you’ll make sure that our team deliver healthy meals and treats to dogs and their humans all over the world.

Butternut has grown significantly, with Rudie’s Kitchen and Aces Pantry—our state-of-the-art order fulfilment and cold storage centre, opened in July 2024—operating side-by-side just 100 yards apart. This is your opportunity to be a key player in the continued success of our operations.

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you’ll help lead activity in our stores and inbound/outbound operations. Reporting into the Warehouse Manager, you’ll support the other Team Leaders in Production and Order Fulfilment.

Responsibilities
  • Be accountable for upkeep and delivery of high safety, quality & hygiene standards.
  • Provide supervision, support and leadership to the warehouse team to meet key operational metrics of quality, stock accuracy, pick rates and waste.
  • Monitor & improve your team’s performance to achieve growth and accuracy in a supportive environment.
  • Lead continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives which contribute to savings within the department and across the company.
  • Accurately plan daily tasks to ensure sufficient team members are in place to meet demand.
  • Work closely with multiple functional teams including Engineering, Technical, Production and Order Fulfilment.

A few things to note
  • This role is 100% based in our kitchen in Blyth, Doncaster
  • The interview process will be in three stages; phone interview with a member of the recruitment team, online video interview with the hiring manager, face to face interview onsite with the hiring manager and wider team with a site tour.
